Student of the Year
Program Supervisor Bob Buster "Student
of the Year" program has been honoring students
since 2010. The vision of this program is to
promote, acknowledge and praise our local
elementary, middle and high school students for
their efforts to succeed academically.
Supervisor Buster recognizes the importance of education and recognizes the hard work that
these students have put into their academics,
school and community.

Mobile Activities
Recreation Service (MARS)
Program offers a roving Van (Spirit) full of recreational
activities for kids ages 6-13 during the summer months of
June, July and August.

Path to Success Tour 2012
The “Path to Success”
program is sponsored by Supervisor Buster. Students from
throughout the 1st District tour the campuses of California
Baptist University and Riverside Community College to sample college life and learn how to prepare for higher education.
The free event is organized by the 1st District Youth Advisory Council.
Over the past 5 years 270 students have participated in the
"Path to Success" program.

The 12th Annual Temescal Valley Faire takes place at the Temescal
Valley
Driving Range on Saturday, May 19th between 11:00am - 4:00pm. The annual event
allows the community the
opportunity to familiarize themselves with the services
that the County of Riverside has to offer and meet with
Supervisor Bob Buster.

Learn to Ride Right!
Children of all Ages are invited to the 4th Wildomar Bicycle Safety Event.
This Free event is 10:00am until 2:00pm in front of the Wildomar
Albertson's at 23893 Clinton Keith Road.
BMX PROS Trick Team will be performing with shows at

8:00am - 12:00 noon
The Mead Valley Clean-Up is sponsored by Supervisor Buster,
Waste Management and Riverside County Code Enforcement Department. This year's event will take place at the
Tomas Rivera Middle School at 21675 Martin Street in Mead
Valley. The Mead Valley Community Clean-up allows residents to dispose of tires, electronic waste, household garbage, green waste and unwanted items. No hazardous items will be allowed.

6:30am - 12:30pm
Lake Mathews and Gavilan Hills curbside

able to get rid of unwanted items such as electronics, appliances and couches,
mattresses, green waste, tree branches and other large
unwanted items. No hazardous waste is allowed.

Santa Margarita River Watershed Clean-up
Hundreds of volunteers from throughout the area transcend
into the stream beds, ravines and hillsides to remove tons
of illegally dumped items from portions of the 26.2 mile watershed of the Santa Margarita River.
This river
provides habitat for a number of endangered plants and animals. Since 1995,
volunteers have prevented over 1500 tons of trash from
